My Favorite Room...

Following are some photos of our screened in porch. It took several years to convince my husband to do it, but I believe  he enjoys it as much as I do now that we have it.

I just received this piece from Dawn Edmonson, which I bought from her Etsy shop. I love Dawn's creations. I just had to have "Prairie Girl". I grew up on Prairie Street, (I know, what's what's that got to do with it) and we do have some prairie land here in Illinois.

I bought this table quite a few years ago. It has 2 leaves that slide out to increase the size of the table.

Some Grant Wood  prints I bought.

Millie and Willie

These are some pieces I bought from K.C. Willis. I'm taking her flag class next month in St. Louis. I'm so excited!

Good ol' Honest Abe, another piece I like a lot!

Miss Kitty

Oh Dorothy , you're so right!

Our deck off the porch and our bedroom. Love it too!

These next four photos were taken one morning looking out to my front lawn.

This is some wrapping paper a friend gave me that just got back from China. Can anyone tell me if I have it hanging the way it's supposed to be? Is it upside-down, backwards? I don't know. I want to make sure it's right. I hope you enjoyed my photos, and have a great Monday. The weather has finally cooled down, and I feel so much better! Take care.

  3. I can see why your screened porch would be a favorite room. We had planned to have one when we built our house but the budget got in the way! What a wonderful space you have to enjoy your backyard.

  4. Hi Deb

The covered in porch is great but I covet your outside space, your deck looks so welcoming, my garden is absolutely tiny and I do miss the space. Great ATC's.
